Away from the otherwise busier hiking trails in the Annapurna area we take you to a piece of almost untouched nature in a recently opened up hiking area. It boasts spectacular views of some of the most famous mountains in the Himalayas, including well-known hiking regions.

As a little extra, we offer you a trip to one of the holiest lakes in Nepal. There are opportunities to see real Nepalese village life with all its unique culture and traditions. If you are looking for peace and seclusion in a fantastic mountain scenery, this is the place for you.

Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu

Our representative will Pick up from Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu, and transfer to the hotel.In Hotel we introduce the guide and talk about the trek and arrange the stuff which you need while trekking.

Day 2Free Day in Kathmandu

This day you can rest or do Shopping for trekking and if you want to do sightseeing than we can arrange you for the sightseeing in Swayambhunath Buddhist Monastery, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath Monastery and Pashupatinath. These all tour destinations are world heritage sites designed by UNESCO world heritage. You can see typical features of different locations. After finishing the tour, you have to prepare for upcoming trekking and we will introduce the guide and do short briefing.

Day 3Drive to Pokhara by Tourist Bus

There are two alternatives,way to go Pokhara one is via land and other is by flight. If you choose to fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara, it only takes around 20 minutes. If we take a bus ride, it takes roughly 6-7 hour to reach Pokhara. If you are in a short time, you can even start the trek on the same day from Kathmandu to fly to Pokhara and drive to the trail ahead.

Day 4Drive to Shyauli and trek to Ghandruk

After breakfast, we will drive to Nayapool, or Shyauli and hike to Ghandruk. There are also two options to reach Shyauli, via Local Bus or via Private Jeep or car as per group size. After the trip from Pokhara to Nayapul and Shyauli, we officially start Khopra Danda Trek, head northeast of valley and hike up toward Ghandruk. Ghandruk is a beautiful village accompanied mainly by Gurung and Poon People and offers a fantastic view of Mt. Fishtail and Annapurna South with unique housing of Gurung people and their traditional museum.

Day 5 Trek to Tadapani

After amazing sunrise and breakfast in Ghandruk, we will continue slowly up toward Tadapani, which is connecting point of Ghorepani, Chomrong (From Annapurna Base Camp) and from Ghandruk. It’s a beautiful way through the Jungle watching the Birds,enjoying the flora and fauna and sometimes even with wild life also. As we already mentioned, it is the meeting point from Annapurna base camp and pun hill trek. The guest houses are overcrowded sometimes.

Day 6 Trek to Dobato

After breakfast, Now very few people enter toward the Khopra ridge of Dobato, while most of them follow toward ABC or back to Pokhara via Ghandruk. Today the trail offers the magnificent view of Dhaulagiri and South Annapurna is a significant attraction of Dobato, where peace and calm accompanied entire area of Dobato and in the morning the sun hits some mountains and the mountains are Just incredible.

Day 7Trek to Upper Sistibung

After breakfast,we continue further enter inside thick ridge of Khopra via forest full of juniper and other trees with tropical forest line. It is entirely into the wild with few marks on tree as a signal to identify the trail if you are on your own, although it is not recommended to trek on your own especially during off-season periods where there is less mark on the path and covered by snow in winter and high bushes on rainy season time reaching Upper Chistibung which is a temporary herder’s settlement. If you’re lucky, you might even spot the colorful Lophophorus (Danphe), the national bird of Nepal, as well as Himalayan thar on the grassy ridge high above the trail..

Day 8Trek to Khopra Danda

After breakfast, we continue our trek on a steady climb above the tree line through alpine meadows and pastures to reach Khopra. A final destination of the trek Khopra Danda and it is the close view point of Mt Dhaulagiri, we see the tip of Annapurna South. Upon reaching Khopra we go for a short walk down Khopra Ridge to a viewpoint overlooking Kali Gandaki river far below in this deep valley. From Khopra we also admire the stunning mountain panorama including Mt. Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri and Annapurna South this is the perfect place to watch the sunrise over the summit of Mt Dhaulagiri and it’s other ranges.

Day 9Exploration Day

Early in the morning After breakfast,we are going to make another optional side trip to Khayer Lake 4,660m. The trail goes toward the hidden lake in front of Annapurna South. From this point, we can view the south face of Mount Annapurna with reflection on the lake where we attain excellent views of the Fang and surrounding mountains. Considered to be a sacred lake by the Hindus, it is believed that bathing in the lake will help attain Nirvana. As Hinduism and Buddhism are intricately related in Nepal, we can even see a number of Hindu and Buddhist shrines on the lakeside. For those of us who do not want to walk all the way to the lake, a half day walk from Khopra can also be arranged. We have packed lunch today.

Day 10Trek to Shwanta Village

After breakfast,we continueFrom Khopra Ridge we descend off the hillside and continue downhill on a steep trail. Along the way we get more views of Mount Dhaulagiri with the mountain providing a lovely backdrop to the terraced fields and traditional houses in the nearby villages.

Day 11Trek to Mohore Danda

After breakfast,we continue From Khopra Ridge we descend off the hillside and continue downhill on a steep trail. Along the way we get more views of Mount Dhaulagiri with the mountain providing a lovely backdrop to the terraced fields and traditional houses in the nearby villages.

Day 12Trek to Thike Dunga

After breakfast,we continue our journey with the sun rises and plunges the wide carried pyramid of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna South, which appears to overshadow the Annapurna 1, into an awesome red. With this memory you climb today on normal stone stairs, through a thick mountain wilderness occupied by monkeys and various feathered creatures Crossing the waterway Burundi, you will initially plunge to Magar town Ulleri (1.960 m).

Day 13Trek to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara

After breakfast,we continue our Final Day of our trekking where we carry lots of memories and getting back to Pokhara. Heading towards Pokhara, you less steeply downhill Hile over Bhirethati to Nayapul. We manage means of transportation here. It is currently time to bid farewell to the mountains. In around one and a half hours driving you will reach to Pokhara.

Day 14Drive to Kathmandu by Tourist Bus

While driving back to Kathmandu, This trip could be considered one of the best, cherishing moment with lots of views alongside rivers, Forest and Hills/. While driving on the tourist bus to Kathmandu, is interesting to watch. (For a surcharge, a flight is possible). Rest of the day free time.

Day 15Free day in Kathmandu

We will have the rest day and free day in Kathmandu where you can buy souvenir and gifts from Nepal to your friends and family. you will be carrying lots of memories with trekking and adventure activities in Nepal.

Day 16Final Depature

Our representative will drop you at Tribhuvan International Airport according to your flight schedule.
