Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Kathmandu

Our representative will Pick up from Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, and transfer to the hotel.In Hotel we will introduce the guide and talk about the trek and arrange the stuff which you need while trekking.

Day 2Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley

From Hotel at thamel we will take a quiet walk upto basantapur that takes only about 20 minutes.You will get to see varieties of an interesting things in ashan tol. For instance, the traditional living style of Newari people. This community people make a small temple in front of their house and worship everyday each morning and evening. They use flowers and clay lamp for that. These people live in a joint family. As the members increases in the family, they make separate house just in the side of their main house and it continues till it makes a circle. But they all use the same temple to worship. Asan bazaar is also famous for oldest vegetable market, that exist till now. However, if you don’t feel like walking then there is nothing to worry about since we provide a vehicle to reach Basantapur. Kathmandu durbar square is also famous for the name Hanuman dhoka (Hanuman is the god of monkeys) . Inside the square, you can observe an abundance of monuments like statues of hanuman,kaal Bhairav, Seto Bhairav, shiva parvati temple and small pashupatinath temple. You can also see taleju temple which is the tallest one among all the Temples in the valley and also the kumari house(the living god). Kumari is shown usually at 9AM to 10AM and if we reach in that particular time you will get to see kumari ,the living god. The square was the residence of an ex-royal family and administration. This ancient place lies in the heart of the city which consist of an enormous royal palace. After sightseeing in Kathmandu durbar square, we will move to the next significant place called Swayambhunath stupa (Buddhist stupa) The word Swayambhunath is derived from Sanskrit word- “swayam” and “bhu” which means “self” and “existent” respectively . so the meaning of Swayambhunath is “self existent” . Swayambhunath is also well known by the name of monkey temple It lies in the highest place in Kathmandu valley where all the Neplease and foreigners visits to enjoy an amazing view of Kathmandu city. If the weather is clear you will get a chance to see Ganesh mountain range of Langtang. Around the stupa, you can observe a plethora of monuments such as Chorten, Buddhist flag, Buddha statue and also Ajima mai temple. After our visit to swayambhunath we will move to another important place named as Baudhhanath Stupa where we will have our lunch on the terrace of Restaurant and enjoy the gorgeous view of Boudhhanath Stupa from there. After our lunch we will have a short drive to Pashupatinath Hindu temple where you can see many hindu rituals of a person from birth till death. After exploring the surrounding of Pashupatinath temple we will drive back to the hotel.

Day 3Drive to Sundarijal and Trekking to Chisapani 2175m

After having breakfast we will drive about 2 hrs to reach Sundarijal. Then we begin our trekking to Chisapani. On the way, we find the water pipes that supplies to Kathmandu. Now the path continues to Shivapuri wildlife reserve where you can observe various birds and different species of flora and fauna. After a few hours of walking, we reach in Mulkharka village that lies at an altitude of about 1850m. In Mulkharka village you will get to explore an inhabitants of Tamang people with their cultures as well as traditions. Tamang is an ethnic group of Nepal. We will have our hot lunch at Mulkharka village and take a walk in slight steep uphill through the forests till Deurali and move downhill until we reach our destination-Chisapani(2140m)

Day 4Trekking to Nagarkot 2195m

After having breakfast at Chisapani, we continue our journey to Nagarkot. The trail continues mostly in the forests until Lakuri Bhanjyang where we will have mouthwatering organic lunch. After lunch, we will pass through an incredible rice terrace and the beautiful local villages before reaching Nagarkot. You can observe an amazing views of mountains like mt. Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Dorje lakpa, Gaurishankar range and many more.

Day 5Trekking to Dhulikhel and drive to Balthali 1730m

Today we will wake up early in the morning to enjoy the breathtaking sunrise. Nagarkot offers an amazing views of sunrise and sunset which is really incredible and of course unforgettable for every visitor. After enjoying the sunrise we will have our breakfast and continue our trekking to Dhulikhel. The first part of our todays trekking is mostly straight. After that trail goes downwards upto Dhulikhel. On the way we can see the local farmers farming and producing the local products like potatoes, buckwheat, barley, maze, millet etc. our vehicle will be waiting at Dhulikhel so we will have lunch there and drive about 1 hour to reach Balthali.

Day 6Sightseeing at Balthali locale farmar villages

After having breakfast at Balthali, we will have a walk around Khyaku and Danda Gaun(village) There we will provide you an opportunity to explore a typical lifestyle of Neplease people. And the orange garden, black cardamom, beans and full of golden rice to ripen will definitely makes everybody’s heart to fall for.

Day 7Trekking to Khopasi and Drive to Kathmandu via Bgaktapur sightseeing

Today we will be going back to Kathmandu via Bhaktapur sightseeing. You have two options to reach Khopasi village- either by walking or by our private vehicle. If you choose by walking then you will get to explore an interesting local villages with mesmerizing rice terrace and the unique suspension bridge. Our vehicle will be waiting at Khopasi village so we will drive about 1 and half hour till Bhaktapur. At Bhaktapur we will have our lunch and explore UNESCO world heritage site Bhaktapur durbar square. An interesting thing about Bhaktapur is pottery farm. After sightseeing at durbar square we will move back to Kathmandu.

Day 8Free Day in Kathmandu

Today you have free time in Kathmandu , you can visit nearby markets specially Thamel by your own and do shopping or if you are interested to do mountain flight to Everest then we will organize for you that charges extra. Mountain flight will be around 45 to 1 hour.

Day 9Final Departure

Our representative will pick you up from the hotel and take to Tribhuvan International airport for final departure.
