This type of trek  is one of the most remotest trekking courses, which navigates through the remotest regions of the western part of Nepal in Rukum and Rolpa. The trek is named as Guerrilla Trek as it involves the trails utilized by Maoists during the time of Civil War in Nepal which was finished in 2006. Trekking in the Guerrilla course offers a refresh knowledge for any individual who is interested in the lifestyles of  the Maoist units operate in the rough landscape. Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu

Our representative will Pick up from Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, and transfer to the hotel.In Hotel we introduce the guide and talk about the trek and arrange the stuff which you need while trekking.

Day 2 Free day in Kathmandu

This day you can rest or do Shopping for trekking and if you want to do sightseeing than we can arrange you for the sightseeing in Swayambhunath Buddhist Monastery, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath Monastery and Pashupatinath. These all tour destinations are world heritage sites designed by UNESCO world heritage. You can see typical features of different locations. After finishing the tour, you have to prepare for upcoming trekking and we will introduce the guide and do short briefing.

Day 3Drive to Pokhara

After having Breakfast in Hotel, we drive towards Pokhara from Kathmandu in the Morning by tourist bus that may take up to 7/8 hours, with breaks on the way at beautiful places (Who wants to have it faster can book a flight to Pokhara for an extra charge).
We drive to the Fewa lake and the quieter city of Pokhara.

Day 4 Drive to Durbang and trek to Takam.

After breakfast we drive towards Darbang sometimes on a good road and sometimes on gravel road. We then trek through rough trails with the beautiful panorama of Gurja Himal (7193 m) in our background and we finally reach Takam.

Day 5 Trek to Lamsung 2250 m

After breakfast,we continue our trek through the awesome view of landscape,and enjoying the spectacular panorama of Annapurna range and Dhaulagiri range,during the trek we meet many locals on our way to our destination, who will definitely have a lot of stories to tell about the war period.

Day 6 Trek to Gurjaghat 3020 m

After breakfast, we continue our trek through dense pine and oak forests. On our way, we may encounter musk deer in those dense forests. We trek through rocky trails which offer stunning 180° view of Dhaulagiri range extending up to Chure Himal in the west. We pass a couple of other dense forests and reach Gurjaghat.

Day 7 Trek to Dhorpatan 2860 m

After breakfast,we continue our trek through lush Himalayan forests to enter the remote part of the country. We move from Myagdi to Baglung. We then trek along rough trails and reach Tibetan refugee camp which leads us to Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve. We may encounter ghoral, Himalayan tahr, black bear pheasant, partridge, and other wildlife on our way to Dhorpatan.

Day 8 Acclimatization Day

Today is the day for acclimatization. Health experts recommend that we stay active and move around even during the rest day instead of being idle. There are a few options for this day. We can either walk through the villages area’s native flora and fauna as well as the history of this place.

Day 9Trek to Nishi Dhor

After breakfast,we continue our trek through the flat grassy trail with easy walk for a while and ascend along the ridge, Listening the beautiful Danphe’s sound, the national bird of Nepal, we head towards the bird paradise of Nisi Dhor. If we are lucky, we may spot wildlife like the black bear, Ghoral, and Himalayan tahr, on our way to Nisi Dhor.

Day 10 Trek to Tallo Sera

After breakfast,we continue our trek through Crossing few water streams, we enter the former Maoist base area in Rukum. We come across a few Magar villages on our way to Tallo Sera, which used to be the main hideout of Maoists during the war and enjoying the awesome view of the Dhaulagiri massif, we reach Tallo Sera.

Day 11 Trek to Rujhi khola

After our breakfast, we continue our trek through few Magar villages in Rukum. Rukum is heaven for people who love the uncorrupted version of nature. Also known as the district of 52 lakes and 53 hills, Rukum can be a chief tourist destination if it was easily accessible.Enjoying the magnificent view of Dhaulagiri, Chauri Peak, Sisne, Putha Hiunchuli (7246 m), and the other Himalayas, we reach Rujhi Khola.

Day 12 Trek to Thabang

Day 13 Trek to Jaljale

After breakfast,we continue our trek through dense forests of Oaks, pine, and rhododendron, we relish the mesmerizing view of Dhaulagiri, Churen Himal, Gurja Himal, Putha Hiunchuli, and the other Himalayas on our way to Jaljale.

Day 14 Trek to Jelbang

After breakfast,we continue our trek through descending downhill, we pass several mixed ethnic villages on our way to Jelbang. We get to learn a lot about cultural diversity in Nepal today. Enjoying the amazing panorama of Api (7132 m) and Saipal (7031m), we enter the ethnically mixed village of Jelbang.

Day 15 Trek to Sulichaur

After breakfast we continue our last day trek through descending downhill to Rolpa which was the base of operation places of Maoist during the war.The trails leads through several lush forests of rhododendron and fir to reach Sulichaur and finish the trek our staff will prepare a great dinner and celebrate a party.

Day 16Drive to Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel

After breakfast we continue our journey by Driving in our private jeep or Bus on the East-West Highway, we leave Sulichaur for Kathmandu. After 9-hour long drive, we will head back to Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel

Day 17Free day in Kathmandu

After a long drive it is better to have a day more in Kathmandu is necessary,We will have a rest day and free day in Kathmandu where you can buy souvenirs and gifts from Nepal to your friends and family. you will be carrying lots of memories with trekking and adventure activities in Nepal

Day 18 Final Departure

Your adventure in Nepal comes to an end today! There is nothing to do but trade emails with your travel workmate and organize your photos. A representative from Nepal Himalaya Travel will take you to the airport, according to your flight scheduled. On your way home you’ll have plenty of time to plan your next adventure in the wonderful country of Nepal.
