Annapurna base camp trek is an exciting journey to make an opportunity to expose and experience the gorgeous views and beauty of mighty Annapurna massif. You will get to explore a number of enormous and stunning peaks. You will also get to see and meet the peoples of beautiful local villages and enjoy an amazing nepalese cultures and traditions.
Trekking to Annapurna base camp commence from Pokhara. Pokhara is one of the best holiday destination in Nepal not only for the international tourists but also very prominent among domestic holiday makers. From Pokhara, you will get to see a plethora of mountain peaks including Machhapuchhre(6,993m) , Manaslu(8156m) , and Dhaulagiri(8,167m).
After Pokhara, trekking will begin. You will get to spend a night in a number of an amazing villages such as Ghorepani, Chommorong, Dovan , Deurali and Dhmpus. In Ghorepani, you will spend a night in a guesthouse however before that we will take a quite walk upto Poonhill which is a view point of mountains since it lies at 3,210m height. There you will get to enjoy the view of the numerous wonderful mountains very closely.
Most of the walk during our journey will be in the forest of rhododendron which makes your trek really a breathtaking. Rhododendron is a national Flower (Lali Gurans) of nepal and you will get to see diffrent species of rhododendron during this trek.
Annapurna base camp is an amzing place to visit as the base camp situates in such a place which is surrrounded from all the sides by the gorgeous and stunning mountains. Also the best part about this trek is you will get an oppertunity to see an incredible moraine in Annapurna-I which makes anybody’s heart to fall for.

Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu

Our representative will Pick up from Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu, and transfer to the hotel.In Hotel we introduce the guide and talk about the trek and arrange the stuff which you need while trekking.

Day 2Free Day in Kathmandu

This day you can rest or do Shopping for trekking and if you want to do sightseeing than we can arrange you for the sightseeing in Swayambhunath Buddhist Monastery, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath Monastery and Pashupatinath. These all tour destinations are world heritage sites designed by UNESCO world heritage. You can see typical features of different locations. After finishing the tour, you have to prepare for upcoming trekking and we will introduce the guide and do short briefing.

Day 3Drive to Pokhara by Tourist Bus

After having Breakfast in Hotel, we drive towards Pokhara from Kathmandu in the Morning by tourist bus that may take up to 7/8 hours, with breaks on the way at beautiful places (Who wants to have it faster can book a flight to Pokhara for an extra charge).We drive to the Fewa lake and the quieter city of Pokhara.

Day 4Drive to Naya Pul and Trek to Tikhedhunga (1450m)

From Pokhara, We drive by private vehicle to Naya Pul to the starting point of our trekking. We can see small rivers, green hills, trace and most beautiful mountain Machhapuchhre. Along the way, we can see local villages and uniquely colorful subtropical vegetation till the end of the day. Today, we have short hike and mostly straight towards uphill.

Day 5Trekking to Ghorepani (2835m)

After breakfast, we start our trekking with amazing views of Machapuchare and Annapurna await you today. But the trails continues uphill, through rhododendron forests that blooms in spring in the variety of colors (mostly red and white) and also natural stairs. In Ullerie, the small Magar village, we enjoy a delicious lunch before moving on past fields to the Ghorepani.

Day 6Poon Hill (3210m) and trekking to Tadapani (2670m)

Today, we kike to Poon Hill early in the morning before sunrise to view snow capped panoramic view of mountains. The rising sun makes Mt. Machapuchare, Dhaulagiri and Annapurna shine and awaken in the most beautiful orange tones, dream panorama, with plenty of time to experience all this in peace. Breakfast will be served later today, after you have returned to the lodge.Then we prepare for the trek to Tadapani.

Day 7Trekking to Chomrong (2170m)

Today, We trek through dense forest to the village of Chomrong, situated on a slope above the Khola gorge. along the way, we will have a fantastic view of Annapurna south and the holy Mt. Machhapuchhre.

Day 8Trekking to Dobhan (2600m)

Today, We trek down to the valley and have to walk again after crossing the river to Sinwa Danda which leads through beautiful shady bamboo forest is a bit more pleasant until we arrive in Bamboo for lunch break. Dobhan is not too far from here.

Day 9 Trekking to Deurali (3200m)

A short day of hiking with many fantastic views of snow-capped Himalaya mountains. Through an ever-narrowing valley, we now walk the tree line and the landscape becomes barren. After resting at Himalaya Hotel, it’s a steep climb up to Deurali.

Day 10Trekking to Annapurna base camp (4130m) via Machapuchhare Base camp

Machapuchare base camp, surrounded by 6000m and 7000 m thousanders mountains, at lunch for the rest of the way, you first cross a small valley, which opens more and more. From here it is not far to Annapurna base camp, the highlight of the tour. Of course, it goes steadily uphill and the thinner air makes the steps more difficult. But the impressive backdrop that resembles an amphitheater is colossal.

Day 11Trekking to Dobhan (2600m)

we have to get up early. But the bombastic sunrise in front of one of the highest mountains in the world and an impressive mountain backdrop, is worth getting up early. Even when it’s cold, enjoy this natural spectacle in the face of Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and the holy Machapuchare. After breakfast and a hot cup of tea, we hike downhill to Dobhan.

Day 12Trekking to Chomrong (2170m)

The way down is the same as a few days before. But no less interesting. Through rustic forests and landscapes.

Day 13Trekking to Landrung

After breakfast, we continue the way down hill to the river and after crossing the bridge we continue uphill to landrung village through rice field. Take a breather and we will work our way up to Landruk. This day would be very beautiful day

Day 14Trekking to Dhampush

Final day of Trekking, Through thick subtropical vegetation,first we have to walk uphill to Deurali ridge with consistently glorious perspectives on the Annapurna massif, we walk through the ridge down to Dhampus.

Day 15Trekking to Phedi and drive to Pokhara

we walk towards Phedi, where our vehicle is waiting. One last little wistful look to the holy Mt. Machapuchare and we start towards Pokhara. The farewell to the mountains we sweeten with some small interesting sightseeing stops. On the program: the Tibetan Refugee Camp with adjoining monastery, the Matepani monastery, the gorge on Seti River and finally the Bindha Basini temple.

Day 16Drive back to Kathmandu by Tourist Bus

While driving back to Kathmandu, This trip could be considered one of the best, cherishing moment with lots of views alongside rivers, Forest and Hills/. While driving on the tourist bus to Kathmandu, is interesting to watch. (For a surcharge, a flight is possible). Rest of the day free time.

Day 17Free Day in Katmandu

We will have the rest day and free day in Kathmandu where you can buy souvenir and gifts from Nepal to your friends and family. you will be carrying lots of memories with trekking and adventure activities in Nepal.

Day 18Departure

Our representative will drop you at Tribhuvan International Airport according to your flight schedule.
