Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu

Pick up from the airport and transfer to the hotel. Let us taste the delicious dinner we invite you to. You get to know your travel companion and can still discuss the last questions.

Day 2 day 2 Flight to Lukla and trekking to Phakding (2610m)

The imposing Himalayan mountain range accompanies you during the short flight to Lukla. (sitting left in the direction of flight) You will get to know your carriers, who have already been waiting for us. After a small tea break, we start a comfortable trekking to Phakding.

Day 3Trekking to Namche Bazar (3440m)

An exciting day on the rise, to Sherpa Headquarters Namche Bazar. After entering Sagamatha National Park, we cross one of the region’s most spectacular and highest suspension bridges. The last part of the day, steeply uphill, has something in it again.

Day 4Closed in Namche Bazar

Today the better acclimatization is on the program. With views to the nearby mountain giants we take our time to the Everest View Hotel and back again.

Day 5 Trekking to Pangboche (4000m)

Probably the most beautiful and famous monastery in Khumbu is on our way to Tengbuche. In addition, the place offers a perfect view of Everest and Lhotse. From here we walk through a beautiful rhododendron forest to the Imja river we cross and continue up, about an hour to climb Pangboche.

Day 6 Excursion to the Ama Dablam base camp (4290m)

At the beginning of the day we follow part of the way towards Everest. On adventurous trails, we cross the Imja River and pass the Hillary Chorten with unforgettable views of the Mother of the Mountains, as Ama Dablam translates. Another hour and the base camp with its many waving colorful prayer flags is reached. We take time to linger and contemplate before returning to Pangboche.

Day 7Trekking Dingbuche (4312 m)

Varied landscapes on interesting mountain trails await us today on the stage to Dingbuche. The rest of the day is enough time to rest and relax.

Day 8Trekking to Labuche (4910m)

Moving forward through sparse flora, but with breathtaking views, we approach the Thukla Pass, a place with many small chapels, reminiscent of the people who died on Everest.

Day 9Trekking to Gorak Shep (5140m) & Everest base camp

The altitude is noticeable on the rather short way to Gorak Shep, where we stop for a tea break and rest. The seemingly endless road to the Everest base camp is difficult. Meter by meter you fight ahead. But all the effort is worthwhile. Even if the base camp is not directly visible to the summit, you are surrounded by the highest mountains in the world. The nature around you is indescribably fantastic. Exhausted, but satisfied all around, you return to Gorak Shep.

Day 10Climbing the Kala Pattar (5550m)

Before sunrise we start, a seemingly easy path towards the summit. Look far beyond the Khumbu Glacier into the valley and mountains as far as the eye can see you enjoy the ascent. We leave this beautiful place and hike to Pheriche or Pangboche.

Day 11 Trekking to Namche Bazar (3440m)

Much easier is the hiking and the way back to Namche Bazar, which comes with some amenities waiting for you. Treat yourself to a delicious coffee and a piece of cake in the Helmers Bakery.

Day 12Trekking to Lukla (2840m)

A long but interesting path on familiar paths through quaint Sherpa villages and a magnificent landscape almost just downhill. At the end of the day we go uphill to Lukla and our tour ends here.

Day 13Return flight to Kathmandu

We start by plane back to the bustle of Kathmandu. The mountains in all their glory pull past you again at the small airplane window. The rest of the day is free time.

Day 14 Reserve days and leisure in Kathmandu

The following days serve as a safety buffer should weather be delayed, the Lukla flight was suspended. Take the opportunity to conquer the Kathmandu valley. Numerous possibilities are offered. We are happy to help you further and organize with interest.

This city has something of all. Hustle and bustle, exoticism, numerous temples and pagodas and last but not least refreshing inhabitants whose hospitality seems hard to beat.

Day 15Free time in Kathmandu

Kathmandu is quite lively. Indra Chowk and Asan Tole are easily accessible from your hotel. Colorful market bustle, exotic flair and the normal Nepalese everyday life awaits you.
